The Vocational training department in the rehabilitation
wing plays an important role in boosting of confidence in the patients.
The SCI patients who had lost hopes have begun to explore their hidden talents. The department offers training in soft toys
making, cutting and tailoring, clay modeling, decorative items, paper items, painting and different kinds of arts and
crafts. Apart from giving a new hope of running their households in a specific vocational area vocational training has also helped
quadraplegies in improving the finger dextevity.
We feel proud to have taken out their hidden self and produce artists so competitive that they can face the so-called Able Bodied world with as much pride and confidence. |
